Why depression?

Well I know a lot of depressed people are misunderstood or people just do not understand what depression is or what people actually go through. I chose to write about depression I know how hard it is to be in a place filled with darkness feeling like there is no light and there will never be light.

Writing about it and painting a picture in peoples minds of how depression looks like may try to make others understand or be more woke to matters like this, who knows maybe it will even save a life. the crazy thing is that people just start talking about depression when a life has been lost and that is when its too late and nothing can be done to bring back that life.

More campaigns for mental health should be introduce and people should not be scared to talk about such sensitive matters because as much as they are sensitive they are important and need to be understood in order to help others even if that person is just a stranger everybody needs a helping hand we are all one even if we are of different races, tradition, class and culture.

We need to be the voice for the voiceless because not everyone has the strength to speak up. I had the strength to find my voice now I want to help gather people to help other find their voices and educate people on depression or mental health
